Care advice

A leather dog collar has the same character as any leather product and must be treated with care and common sense.

To maximize the life of your fine dog collar, it needs to be lubricated with special leather grease, preferably at least once a year, depending on how exposed the leather is to wear from sun, water, weather and wind.

If leather is not lubricated, it loses its natural protection against wear, dirt and rain.

If your leather collar gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and if you have been out in the rain and your collar is wet, let it dry at normal room temperature and not directly on a radiator, which can damage the leather.

A leather dog collar should preferably not be exposed to salt water, but if you've been to the sea and your leather collar has gotten wet, rinse it with plain water and let it dry.
